Stocks sink over Fed uncertainty, Nifty closed at 18696

Today, NSE Nifty 50 started at low and was down by 0.62 percent. Closed in red. Nifty below 18700.

The Bank Nifty also opened in red and was down by 0.36 percent closed in red at 43103.75. Similarly, the BSE Sensex was down by 0.66 points and closed in red at a low of 62868.50.

Indian stock markets fell after 8 days of rally. Further, most of the Asian stock markets fell in a cautious trade on Friday ahead of key U.S. payrolls data, which is expected to influence monetary policy and interest rates.

Today, the advance-decline ratio was 1.35, and the market breadth was positive. The volatility index India Vix further increased 0.67 percent to settle at 13.45.
