NSE Nifty 50 ended just higher by 0.03 percent. Nifty near 18410. Benchmark indices closed in green today at 18406.65. Today, there was a power balance between bulls and bears.
Today the NSE bank opened at lower and closed in higher. Nifty Bank up by 0.38 percent. Closed in green today at 42535.30.
BSE Sensex near 61985 also closed in green. BSE was up by 0.17 percent and closed at 61980.72. Sensex also started at lower and ended in green.
On the Economic news front, Exports contract 16.6 percent in October for the first time in the current fiscal year, whereas imports rise 5.7 percent mostly because of an increase in fuel and fertilizers price. Rising inflation, currency volatility and ongoing Russia- Ukraine war is a major reason behind the exports contraction and rise in imports.
Today, the advance-decline ratio was 0.62, and the market breadth was negative. The volatility index India Vix, on the other hand, further increased 3.17 percent to settle at 15.10.
